Promotions Assistant



The Promotions Assistant provides support to the staff of the Marketing department. 


Unit-Specific Responsibilities

1) Provide support to the staff of the Marketing Department. 

2) Maintain communications on behalf of the Department, includes monitoring phone line and email account.

3) Respond to communications, taking action when necessary.

4) Process incoming review copy requests and ensure they are filled in a timely manner.

5) Facilitate requests from the media, includes providing requested images and contacting authors for interviews.

6) Process reviews from media outlets.

7) Oversee three student assistants by coordinating schedules, delegating tasks, and ensuring the completion of tasks.

8) Assist in tasks related to building the seasonal catalog, includes maintaining spreadsheets of titles, proofreading copy, and ensuring that edits have been made.

9) Conduct media research.

10) Assist Publicity Director, Promotions Managers, and other marketing managers with tasks as needed.
