AU Press is a scholarly imprint with a geographical focus of Canada and the North American West. Under this imprint, we publish innovative and experimental works that challenge established canons, subjects, and formats and develop book series that contribute to the scholarship of established and new disciplines. We are dedicated to making AU Press publications accessible to a broad readership through open access dissemination and we cultivate scholarship in the areas of open-, distance-, and e-learning to advance our understanding of the needs of the academy as online and virtual learning becomes more prevalent. We pursue several creative non-fiction forms such as the oft-neglected memoir and oral history genres and focus our list of titles on work that addresses issues of equity and social justice. AU Press values openness and accessibility and the list of publications under this imprint are an expression of these values.
