ACLS presents “AI and Humanistic Inquiry: Scholarship, Ethics, and Knowledge in the Age of AI,”

As the debate over the benefits and risks of using AI continues, questions remain about its impact and its ongoing influence on humanistic inquiry. How are fields of study changing and being influenced by AI? Are these fields in danger or poised for a new age of advancement?

“AI and Humanistic Inquiry” is a cross-disciplinary conversation presented live on Zoom that will explore artificial intelligence and its implications for scholarship, including questions of access, representation, ethics, research, publication, data, and the changing ways knowledge is produced, shared, and valued across the humanities and social sciences.
