Charges
General Objective:
- Organize the main program and procure speakers/panelists/moderators for the 2026 Annual Meeting to be held in Seattle, Washington.
Specific Charges to the 2026 Annual Meeting Program Committee:
- In organizing the main program and procuring speakers/panelists/moderators, including plenary speakers, create sustainable opportunities and frameworks for EJIB initiatives. Invite input from the EJIB Committee and membership in order to generate continued progress and expansion for future meetings.
- Implement creative solutions to engage and invite participation from non-US-based membership, learned societies, and AUPresses members throughout all stages of their careers; develop strategies to prioritize accessibility for all.
- Leverage the distinct opportunities afforded by the in-person location of the annual meeting to identify topical or thematic issues to highlight during the program.
- Should the need arise, based upon events at the annual meeting not reflected in the final report, provide a debrief after the conclusion of the annual meeting for the incoming president and incoming Annual Meeting Program Committee chair.
