Charge
General Objective:
- Evaluate all applications from presses to become Association members in the various categories and recommend acceptance or rejection to the Board; as requested by the board or the executive director, review expressions of concern regarding an individual member’s adherence to membership eligibility requirements and make initial recommendations.
Specific Charges to the Admissions & Standards Committee:
- Provide timely, comprehensive consideration and evaluation of all applications from presses to become Association members in the various categories and recommend acceptance or rejection to the Board.
- Continue to mentor and monitor progress of Introductory members toward permanent membership.
- Utilize and review the best practices document prepared by the 2025-26 committee to guide application reviews.
