The AUPresses invites all members of the Association’s business and finance community to attend the 2026 Business Operations Meeting!
The AUPresses 2026 Business Operations Meeting will take place on June 12-13, in advance of the AUPresses Annual Meeting, taking place on June 13-15, at the Westin Seattle, in Seattle, WA.
Program and Schedule
The Business Operations Meeting will begin Friday, June 12, with an opening reception at 5pm, and continue Saturday, June 13, with a full day of programming from 10am-4pm.
Sessions will include discussions about: the AUPresses Annual Operating Statistics with Kim Schmelzinger, distributors and inventory management, roundtables, and a series of open topics with moderator Wynona McCormick (Texas A&M University Press); and, of course, time to network with colleagues over lunch and throughout the day.

To help and encourage individuals from smaller (Groups 1 & 2) member presses to attend the meeting, AUPresses offers travel grants of $500 and waives the Business Operations Meeting registration fee ($185) for up to four eligible individuals to attend the Business Operations
