In honor of the seventh annual Peer Review Week, the Coalition for Diversity & Inclusion in Scholarly Communications (C4DISC) will host a free webinar, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Scholarly Publishing, moderated by Aries Systems and Alice Meadows. The session, designed for attendees to actively participate and engage through thought-provoking questions and prompts, will discuss topics including:
- Definitions of diversity, inclusion, equity, and accessibility
- Why DEI matters in scholarly publishing and peer review
- Current shifts, addressing bias, and benchmarking and measurement
- Concrete ways that the community can support DEI
