Editorial Program
Founded in 1936, the University of Ottawa Press (PUO-UOP) is North America’s leading bilingual university press and a leading publisher in Canada’s national capital.

PUO-UOP publishes 24-28 titles per year in a range of social sciences and humanities series and series for the curious reader, as well as in the series of its literary imprint, Duo. The PUO-UOP catalogue includes over 1,400 active titles: the 730-title PUO-UOP catalogue, the 500-title catalogue of the Canadian Museum of History’s Mercury Series (Canadian Archaelogy, History, Culture), as well as the Harvest House imprint, Invenire imprint in governance, and several titles from former Ottawa-based literary publisher, Les Éditions du Vermillon.

The PUO-UOP mission is to enrich intellectual and cultural life through excellence in research and knowledge creation in a knowledge-based, globalized world, and to amplify the reputation of the University of Ottawa.

Vi fremmer den vigtige indsats hos en verdensomspændende sammenslutning af forlag, hvis væsentligste opgave er at sikre fremragende akademisk arbejde og styrke vidensformidling.
