AAUP Partners with Trajectory

BOSTON and NEW YORK—Trajectory and the Association of American University Presses (AAUP) are pleased to announce a partnership to bring Trajectory’s innovative book discovery solutions, global distribution network, and metadata translations to AAUP members.

Peter Berkery, AAUP Executive Director, commented, “We are always looking for new and innovative solutions to bring to our global membership. The natural language processing tools from Trajectory will enhance participating presses’ digital publishing programs with metadata enrichment, international distribution, and multi-lingual translation.” Trajectory has developed and deployed a series of algorithms that are being used to address the ‘book discoverability’ issue facing the global publishing ecosystem.

“We want to thank the AAUP for partnering with Trajectory to support the eBook publishing programs of its member presses,” said Jim Bryant, Trajectory Co-Founder and CEO. “Leveraging Trajectory’s technology will expand the discoverability of AAUP member publications and enable them to reach new markets through the metadata translations between languages (English, Mandarin, German, and Spanish) and the distribution network of Trajectory.”
