In advance of AAUP 2014, the Association has published the report of the latest Digital Book Publishing Strategies in the AAUP Community survey.
An annual data-collection project since 2010, this survey gauges the degree of adoption of a wide range of digital strategies for publishing and marketing books. In 2014, 56% of the AAUP membership (75 presses) shared information on such a range of questions as e-book formats, DTDs, revenue projections, and discovery services.
