2014 Digital Book Publishing Survey Report Available

In advance of AAUP 2014, the Association has published the report of the latest Digital Book Publishing Strategies in the AAUP Community survey.

An annual data-collection project since 2010, this survey gauges the degree of adoption of a wide range of digital strategies for publishing and marketing books. In 2014, 56% of the AAUP membership (75 presses) shared information on such a range of questions as e-book formats, DTDs, revenue projections, and discovery services. New this year, the survey collected information about metadata management and distribution
