The Association of University Presses invites you to volunteer to serve on a 2024-2025 AUPresses Committee!
The work of AUPresses Committees and Task Forces, staffed by volunteers from our member presses, is essential to the Association. Service on an AUPresses Committee offers participants the opportunity for professional and network development through interaction with talented colleagues across the Association, and also benefit their own presses by bringing the knowledge, information, and expertise developed in committee service back to their home presses.
Any member of the AUPresses community may volunteer. Individuals who have not been previously active in the Association and who are from communities that are currently underrepresented in publishing are especially encouraged to apply. We also urge Press Directors to empower staff to participate.
Committee terms typically begin in July after the conclusion of the Association’s Annual Meeting. Members normally serve three-year terms (except for the Annual Meeting Program Committee, Investment Committee, and task forces).
