Please join us for a discussion about PR and media monitoring tools, such as Cision, Meltwater, and Muck Rack. These platforms allow users to search journalists by publication and beat, access contact information, send pitches and track open rates and link clicks. The platforms also offer media monitoring by search term, “talking about” monitoring of journalist’s social media posts, and media updates, as well as access to HARO (Help a Journalist Out) and to editorial calendars. Users can use the system to craft and distribute pitches and some platforms will also measure engagement. Our panelists will share their experiences with these solutions and their suggested best practices. We invite the meeting participants to also share their questions, thoughts and expertise.
