Virtual Annual Meeting
June 15-26
In April, the Board of Directors made the difficult decision to cancel the in-person AUPresses 2020 Annual Meeting scheduled to be held in Seattle, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. AUPresses 2020 was instead held virtually, June 15-26.

Our 2020 Annual Meeting Program Committee, chaired by Laurie Matheson (Illinois), took up the challenge to adapt their hard work to a new virtual program that was presented over two weeks in June.
Nearly 800 people registered (download a registration list) to watch sessions (download a program PDF) and participate in networking events. Educational sessions can now be viewed on demand at no charge on Vimeo. Several sessions were covered by Feeding the Elephant on the H-Net Book Channel.

The meeting mentorship program, organized by the Professional Development Committee, also continues virtually.
AUPresses 2020 in Seattle would have coincided with the 100th anniversary of the University of Washington Press. We are delighted to announce that we will be in Seattle to celebrate just a little bit later, for AUPresses 2023 at the Seattle Westin.
