Most university press contracts have language stipulating that an author’s work does not infringe the copyright of any person or third party. That means that the author must obtain permission for any text or images are protected by copyright. Usually the business of overseeing authors’ permissions falls to press staff. But what if you’re new to the process or maybe don’t do it that often? Or both? Join AUPresses-member experts as they explain how to navigate the complex world of permissions.
